What is a Yandex Product Feed?

Yandex Market Language (YML) — is an XML-based markup standard developed by Yandex for receiving and posting information from merchants. The YML file is used by online stores to transfer data about product offerings.

The YML file contains the Shop element — information about the store, inside which the Offers element is located — a list of products.

Syntax:
    <shop>
        ...
            <offers>
            ...
                    <offer>...</offer>
            ...
            </offers>
        ...
    </shop>

The Shop element is intended to convey the description of an online store and its product offerings. This element provides for the transfer of the following basic information:

  1. Store name
  2. The name of the company that owns the store
  3. Store URL
  4. List of currencies and conversion rate
  5. Categories list
  6. Cost of shipping orders by region
  7. List of product offers.
